Would You Rather: Exploring Life's Most Entertaining Hypotheticals
The latest episode of Girl Gang Podcast dives deep into the classic game of "Would You Rather," where we explore life's hypothetical dilemmas with humor and surprising candor. This game was big during our formative years, and still slaps today.
Each of us came with three questions to ask, and we were surprised by some of the answers! Here’s what we chatted about:
Would you rather erase all of your most embarrassing moments from everyone else's memories or erase them from your own memory?
Let’s be honest, most people don’t remember things about us unless they were there and also embarrassed. We mostly leaned into the idea of forgetting the memories for ourselves, but also think that these moments made us who we are today or aren’t so significant that we even remember them today.
Would you rather marry someone who completely understands you emotionally but never makes you laugh or have fun with, or would you rather marry someone who makes you laugh so hard and you always have fun with them but they don't quite understand you emotionally?
We love to laugh, but the emotional connection is key for all of us. Good thing we have the Girl Gang to make us laugh the rest of our lives if our partner can never make that happen!
Would you rather never attend a concert again, or you can't listen to music unless you're at a concert?
A good question for the Girl Gang considering that’s how we all became friends. No shocker here, Brandi is choosing concerts. Sarah needs musical theatre in her life, so she’s choosing music on the daily, and given my mostly sober lifestyle, I would choose to hear music every day over going to concerts. But we all struggled with this one a bit because music is so important to all of us.
Would you rather be able to read minds, but only when someone's lying, or teleport, but only to Target?
At first Brandi and I both thought lying was an easy answer, but we love to travel and we want to save money. If you can teleport to any Target in the world, then you can travel to anywhere in the world! Too bad would you rather situations weren’t real in situations like this…
Would you rather only have one night stands forever, or only ever sleep with the first person you slept with?
One night stands, with the caveat that you don’t have to worry about STIs!
Would you rather have people hear all of your thoughts, or everything you do is live streamed on social media?
Social media. We would all get arrested or worse if people could hear our thoughts. We can at least determine what we do in life and therefore what would end up on social media.
Would you rather co-host a podcast with your ex or your mom?
Love you, mom! But I’m choosing the ex :)
Would you never be in love again or never be able to climax again?
Orgasm, nuff said.
Would you rather have all of your messages exposed or all of your pictures?
If it’s phone photos vs. Snapchat photos, then we might have different answers! But we had mixed answers on this one for good reasons.
